Rowan Yates graduated from the QLD Conservatorium of Music in 2011 specialising in Performance. He continued on to attain a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning and started teaching instrumental music at a number of schools around Brisbane. Rowan has been playing with the Brisbane Excelsior Band since 2008 Baritone and Euphonium. In 2009, Rowan placed 3rd at the QLD State Championships Solo Competition on Euphonium.
