The Brisbane Excelsior Band Inc. regretfully advise that our long serving Patron and supporter, Dr Dan O’Donnell, passed away earlier this week.
Dr O’Donnell unfortunately lost his battle with cancer – one which he had fought strongly for a couple of years.
He has been a strong supporter of the band for many years, and is the author and publisher of the History of Brisbane Excelsior book – 1912 to 1995.
Dr O’Donnell will be sadly missed, and is survived by his wife, Marion, and daughter, Jenny.
There will be a funeral service, Thursday 3 April, 11am at the Uniting Church, corner Rode Road and Gympie Road, Brisbane.
